Elin Stebbins Waldal is an author, speaker and an advocate for healthy relationships.
Her first book, Tornado Warning, A Memoir Of Teen Dating Violence And Its Effect On A Woman’s Life, has been recognized as: a Mom’s Choice Awards® Gold Recipient for 2011 in the Adult Book Category, The 2012 Readers’ Choice Awards Best Parenting Teens Book Winner , a Finalist in the 2012 Eric Hoffer Book Awards and earned the distiction as an Eric Hoffer 2012 da Vinci Eye Winner for superior cover art.
Elin has appeared on Fox News San Diego – Channel 5, San Diego Living – Channel 6 and countless radio programs across the country.
Recognized in October of 2011 with the Champion of HOPE Award: For an individual who Expresses Hope, Opportunity, Healing and Education in San Diego County and in June of 2010 with an Honorable Mention Award in the World of Difference Category by The San Diego County Office of Education for speaking and educating high school students. Additionally, she is a California state certified domestic violence advocate.
